Seriously, though, I know all the pre-and post-pubescent joys of my chosen name. I might even be inclined to admit (for a small sum of money or at least flattery) that I chose the name for that very reason. It suits me. Female, but missing something (my husband calls that something a heart, even though – true story – I did point out during a recent EKG that I do in fact have a heart. He just pointed out that “yeh, but it looks all black and creepy”). Oh, but I digress.
Again, thanks for such a wonderful welcome. I enjoyed the goats, they were delicious in a creamy lemon artichoke sauce with baby greens and brie pot de creme.

Ok, working backwards…
Long list, but just to name a few: C H Cherryh, Piers Anthony, Alan Dean Foster, and Robert Aspirin. I alos like a bunch of writers who may have had 1 or 2 books published – but heaven knows I don’t remember their names. I tend to pick books up, read them and forget who wrote them 10 seconds after finishing them.
Of course I realise where they’ve been – where do you think I got the creamy sauce? Don’t worry, I can give them back if need be…maybe not in the same condition, though. You may lose that deposit. That’ll learn ya for renting goats when Litoris is around!
By the by – if anyone was interested, the Red Hot Chili Peppers put on a great show Wednesday. They have come a loooooooooong way from the last time I saw them (in 1988) and truth be told, I was actually impressed by Gnarls Barkley.
Sometimes, I have been known to refer to my husband as Crotum, since he’s just a little nuts…
