Little House on the Prarie
Pa, Ma and the girls settle on the banks of Plum Creek. Pa dies in a horrible threshing accident, leaving the family destitute. All are devestated, but in order to survive, Ma along with Mary and Half-pint set up shop as a “house of ill repute”. What hijinx occur as they try to hide their occupation from the sweet innocent child, Carrie! They bring in good business being the only game in town, and eventually have to hire Nelly Olsen. Carrie, on learning the true meaning of “family business”, runs off and joins a convent. But eventually comes back home and becomes the hardest working girl on the prarie. The nun’s habit is a big draw. Mary goes blind from syphillis and slowly declines into madness. Half-pint goes on to become president of the screen actors guild, ummm I mean Half-pint eventually becomes mayor and rules with a iron-fist-in-a-velvet-glove. The town folk like it that way.
