I did a Google search on this plus checked the Apple forums, but so far haven’t found a solution (seen a number of folks with the same issue, but no replies to any of their questions).
Here is the issue…trying to connect an iPad to a CISCO ASA5520 firewall via VPN. We know that the VPN system is working properly since we have clients connecting to it via CISCO’s VPN client as well as some third party VPN software like Shrewsoft’s VPN client. We know the iPad’s are also connecting, first off we see the splash screen and secondly I can see the connection in ASDM and using debug at the command line of the firewall.
The trouble is, even though the iPad says it’s connected, and even though we see the connected session, the iPad’s can’t seem to connect to any internal resources. They can’t even ping or access the firewall on the local VLAN, let alone access any other internal devices or resources.
Any thoughts?
