iPhone - how do I disconnect an e-mail account?

I’ve got an e-mail account that I connected to my iPhone. I no longer want it on my iPhone.

Any ideas how to unconnect? the iPhone help page just talks about adding e-mail accounts.

This is how it works on the iPad. Go to settings; mail, contacts, calendars; select the account you want removed then there should be a delete account button available.

settings->mail,contacts,calendars->(select the email account)->delete button at the bottom
