I’m not having trouble with any other sites, just the SDMB. Sometimes, too often to shrug off, and without any discernable pattern, I will try to load a page, or backpage, and it just won’t happen. Period. It’ll stay half-loaded until hell freezes over, or maybe I’ll get an error message. Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?
no offence but, With 7396 posts and a membership lasting over 4 years you’d think you’d know about this.
The boards are slow and often unresponsive due to a high level of demand.
You’re not alone in this, Rilchaim. As Lobsang put it, it’s fairly well part of the pattern around here.
I’ve been wondering if it isn’t time to do something to speed up the boards. More capacity means more funds spent and that leads to the old subject of when will they start charging us to belong to SDMB?
