Back in September, my roommate recommended Ogame to me. Lemme 'splain:
You start on a planet located somewhere in the universe amongst thousands of other online players. The object is to collect resources that can be used to construct buildings, interplanetary ships, defense systems, etc. It’s pretty boring for the first couple of days because you can only upgrade your mines and collect more resources. Soon, though, you’ll be able to build cargo ships, espionage probes, and combat ships, and in turn you’ll be capable of invading other players for their resources.
There’s a little more to it than my simple description, but not much. It’s fun. Promise.
So, any other Dopers on Ogame? Does anybody wanna give it a try? I recommend one of the newer Universes (11 or 12). I’m currently in Uni 11, the name’s Bob Loblaw. Send me a message if you find me.
