Is anyone going to hit the mall at 4 AM Friday?

And if so, why?

No.

no way.

You mistyped your thread title but I still knew what you meant.

Are you going to hit the mall at 4 pm on December 24th?

Answer: Probably depending on what else is going on.

Only way I’m willing to hit the mall…any mall…on “Black Friday” would be with a bomb dropped from a fighter as I go zooming past it.

No, but I’ll be leaving the house by 4:30 that morning. And why? Mostly for fun. The sales provide me a guilt-free reason to buy things for myself for about half of what they usually do. I might do some christmas shopping too, but no one has told me what they want yet.

Not a freaking chance.

“Black Friday”?

Not at 4am, maybe 6ish.

I will be going because I don’t have a lot of money, but still like to buy people nice presents. Sales on Black Friday help me stretch my dollar. And I go with my mom and we go out for breakfast and stuff and it’s fun. We don’t line up outside or anything crazy. Usually hit up a couple stores like Macy’s and Kohls and are home by noon or one pm.

No.

Correction: Hell, no.

When it comes, I’m gonna dig myself a hole.

Gonna lay down in it 'til I satisfy my soul.

Nope.

I usually try not to leave my cozy home on the day after…

I’ll be just getting home between 4-5 am. I’ll be going to bed and then staying around home watching movies and stuff starting about 2pm. You’d have to pay me a lot of money to venture out into the neighborhood that day!

I’ve done it a few times in the past, but there’s nothing I want badly enough this year (at least nothing that I’ve heard of yet) to make it worthwhile.

I plan to wake up about 6:00 Friday morning, think about my friends who’ll have been working for hours already, think about how I don’t have to work until later, smile, and go back to sleep.

God no. My aunt will probably want to. I won’t go. (Besides, all my Christmas shopping is done - I got the last of it yesterday)

I never do, but this year, I will. My sister is flying home and landing around midnight. I’m going to pick her up and then will probably go directly to Kohl’s so I’m there when the doors open at 4. A 4.5 quart Kitchenaid Stand Mixer will be on sale there for $159. I have wanted one of those for the past six years. And this year it will be mine. My own sweet, sweet mixer.

I might also go to Best Buy for the DVD sales, but I’m not sure I want to deal with it. The Kitchenaid is worth it to me, though. So worth it.

Best Buy might be especially insane. There were people camping out in front of the doors at six P.M. Thankgiving Day. Those people are for the TVs and computers though, I bet the DVDs will still be there.

I’ve done Black Friday once, at Target, just to see the insanity. I didn’t plan on buying anything, but I got real lucky and picked up a LCD TV and microwave. If I do anything this year, I’m going to Office Max and pick up a laser printer I saw in a leaked ad. Not a very sexy item, but I need one badly.

Oh. Phuck. No. I can’t think of anything, anything at all, that I need that bad.
