Is anyone watching Under the Gunn?

Asha’s styling killed her collection. The makeup, hair, and especially those dumb turbans ruined anything good she did. NPH called it when he said her collection looked circus-y.

With very few exceptions I tend to ignore the hair, makeup, and anything not clothing. Since it, and the original Project Runway about the clothing, that’s what I focus on. I guess since the judges don’t narrow their focus I shouldn’t either, but I don’t really think anything else is important because in general several different types of women with different makeup, hair, jewelery, purses, etc… buy the same fashion.

They seem to go either way. I agreed with Rachel Roy’s point that for a runway show in a big hall, you go big and really give the viewers a show, with a sense that the elements/sensibility will later be translated into something wearable/sellable. But then sometimes the judges will explicitly focus on what will sell, and whether they or some imaginary women would want to buy it.

I think once they started being able to sell the looks, they realized they couldn’t turn “wearable” or "sellable"into an insult or they’d lose a lot of potential $$$$$$.

Speaking of sellable – Oscar’s capsule collection has been released.

If I were 30 years younger and 60 pounds lighter, I’d definitely wear some of those. Really like the midi skirt.
