my friend wants to know

It’s the Expendables.
-
It’s a brief cameo.
:sigh:
The title is a rare example of truth in advertising. It truly is expendable. We saw this and Scott Pilgram vs The World on the same night, and Michael Cera was a more exciting action star in that film than this underlit pile of crap.
I assume that it is also very expectable, however.
Hey, I liked it. Nowhere as good as Rambo 4, but pretty good.
Even if your friend wants to know, do you really have to type that every time?
And Sly has talked about “something big” for The Expendables 2. I hope it’s more Arnold.
I gotta have something to say in the post when the topic title says it all
Well, you could always try, “Just like the topic says: Is Arnold really in The Expendables, or is it just a quick cameo?” I’ve seen many such OPs. If I can add something–you seem to be bringing many of your friend’s queries to us; perhaps he or she should join up with the SDMB and cut out the middleman.
BTW, I haven’t seen the film yet, but I want to. I’ll watch for Arnold when I do.
So they all weren’t expended?
No. They are considered expendable. Most make it out alive, actually.
Other than the villain(Eric Roberts), I can’t remember anyone that died(that was major). Anyone?
No one. Even Dolph Lundgren finished the movie alive and well… and back with the team!
“Sorry about that whole ‘tried to impale you on a pipe’ thing!”
You think there’s any truth to the rumor that Chuck Norris will have a cameo as James Braddock?
Who knows. The rumors surrounding The Expendables listed nearly every action star of the last 20 years at one point or another. And the number of people who turned Sly down who’ll probably want a piece of the bigger sequel is impressive all by itself (Kurt Russell, Jean Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Danny Trejo).
I’m hoping for a Mr. T cameo myself.
The plot was pretty simple but a great cast of tough guys, had fun with it. But ya gotta love excessive kicking, punching, copious gunshots, knife throws, and plenty of explosions.
So PSXer, did you like the movie? (My friend wants to know.)
Unfortunately, It’ll probably be Tom Arnold…
Hey, Tom Arnold was a lot of fun in True Lies.
I haven’t seen the movie. I’ll have to wait till it gets to the $3 theater
It’s already on DVD, which means it probably came to the $3 theater and went a while ago.
