I’m not good with Spanish, so I can’t really make out whether Alex Cabrera, who played in the big leagues in the early 2000s then played all over the world after that, has retired or if he is going to retire following this current season. Can anyone who knows Spanish decipher these articles and let me know ‘what’s what’?
The article says that he had promised to retire if he hit a HR on a game where his son was also on the field. He just did that so he’s seriously considering going through with it.
