Was just reminded of why I would so much rather use G+ that shitty FB.
Here are some things:

I communicate (mainly) in three languages on FB, which must be annoying to people who don’t speak that language and have my posts turn up in their feed.

Sometimes friends google translate to be able to participate in a certain post. A friend recently tried to translate “that sucks”, but ended up sounding like he was offering me oral sex. It’s a good thing my parents have a sense of humour.

Having my parents on FB is great, I hear what they’re up to etc (my lovely dad just started a pancake day group for the fam!). Only they don’t really “get” FB that well, so they’ll leave weird comments to friends of mine they’ve never met. Which is annoying.
All this would be so much better on G+! Why oh why won’t the world just jump on board?
