I frequent a bar located very close to DFW airport. I’ll often meet international passengers and air crew there. I’ve noticed that almost every single person I meet from the Caribbean or Africa will order Heineken beer. There are about 20 different beers to choose from in bottles, several draft selections, as well as full liquor. Is Heineken widely sold and popular in these parts of the world?
I am a Bahamian student residing in Trinidad & Tobago and I can definately tell you that Heineken is definately popular with the people in Bahamas, Tinidad and Barbados. Guiness is more popular in the Bahamas than it is in the other Islands though…
I don’t know about the rest of Africa but the Bostwana students I know, love Heineken
