Yesterday I was assigned to one of the tables for my local elections, I spent 4 hours there. The room was cool and I’d eaten something before going there and made sure to be hidrated but also that I wouldn’t be needing the bathroom. The overseer kept offering to bring me something to drink. “No thanks, I’m not thirsty.” Soda, coffee? “No thanks, I’m not thirsty.” Eh… an infusion? “No, seriously, thank you but I am not thirsty!”
The reason to drink whisky may be different from thirst, but so are the reasons to drink soda or coffee or tea - and no, thanks, I was not thirsty!
