Is it always Lobsterfest at Red Lobster?

I used to work at Red Lobster and Lobsterfest was a big deal with a mandatory employee meeting to go over the menu and get new buttons to wear.

Now it seems like Lobsterfest is every other week. I just saw a commercial for it again.

Is this confirmation bias or are they really having Lobsterfest multiple times per year?

Lobsterfest? But it isn’t even frozen lobster season!

Badly Cooked Seafood Fest is every week at Red Lobster.

For example, this is what they have on Twitter this morning.

So far as I can tell from googling, it’s an annual thing that happens at the very end of January until about the second or third week of April.

It’s a sad commentary on our modern society that we have lost the true meaning of Lobsterfest.

“That’s what Lobsterfest is all about, Charlie Brown.”

There’s a War on Lobsterfest! Just last week someone told me “Happy Crustacean Feast!”

No kidding… some schools are even wedging Shark Week carols into Lobsterfest concerts now. I appreciate the attempt at inclusivity, but at some point it becomes counterproductive and borderline offensive.

Don’t agree,I always enjoy Red Friday the day after Shrimpfest

Thus conveniently ensuring that it’s always Lobsterfest during Lent.

Dead Lobster

I think Lobsterfest is still annual, but it seems like Red Lobster IS frequently launching different “fests” and other special promo menus.

I don’t know about anywhere else, but here in lonely south Arkansas the local ‘Fish Nest’( yes, it’s Nest, sign typo. Shoulda been Nets) has a fest. Daily. Not lobster though.

More like Catfish. Yum-yum. A southern gal cannot get enough of her Catfish!

(Especially if they come from nests)

Of all the fests out there, lobster is the one I get least excited about.
mmm

It turns out, the Lobsterfest was inside us all along.

Halloween Town is currently making Lobsterfest…making Lobsterfest…

If you have the time, you might want to Consider The Lobster with David Foster Wallace.

Arby’s is constantly having near daily “specials” of 3 for $5 on their original roast beef sandwiches, so it’s shocking the one day I go in without a special going on and I find out the MSRP for a single roast beef sandwich is $4.

“It is always Lobsterfest at Red Lobster, sir. Forever…and ever…and ever.”
