Hmm. Well, I was wrong. It’s snowing right now. It did rain, but it’s all snow now.
Darned forecasters. Getting it right for once.

I just got back from a nice x-mas morning four hour motorcycle ride.
Ahhh, new traditions.
Checking in from Burlington, Ontario. We have about 5 inches of snow today. We actually celebrated Christmas yesterday, including our turkey dinner and there was’t a bit of the white stuff on the ground. But as I look out the window right now I feel that this really is Christmas. Of course, all of this snow will be gone by the weekend.
Since I haven’t actually gone outside at all today, I’m just going to estimate that we’ve got about four inches here in Southeastern Michigan. It’s very lovely. There’s a wooded area across from my apartment, and not long ago I saw a deer strolling through it.
I hope all of y’all who celebrate Christmas are having a good day.
We weren’t supposed to get any snow, but like Kyla said, we got hit last night. Looks nice, but not great to drive in. Not in the city here, anyway. They suck at keeping the roads clear. The expressways weren’t bad, though, thank goodness.
It’s coming down like… like… like lots and lots of snow, out there. It’s a good thing I hadn’t gone to visit my friend or see a movie with him - we were going to go see The Two Towers this evening - or we’d be doing our own version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” but without the making out. (It’s up to your knees out there! … But baby, you’ll freeze out there!)
We’ve now got about 2 feet of snow and we’re expecting 3 feet by tomorrow morning. All the interstates in the area are closed. I didn’t mind the snow today, but I’m worried since hubby has to get to work very early tomorrow.
