I had the same thought. Sounded like a spouse/BF/GF who gets a hold of a social media account and posts under the other person’s name or changes stuff. I don’t know why I’ve seen this happen several times on Facebook but I have. So it makes sense the same could happen with the discovery of message board posting history and an attempt to revise it.

My recent post is very real. My husband hasn’t seized control of my accounts and he most certainly isn’t abusive. It’s my fault that you have this impression since my OP was greatly exaggerated in the first place. Now, I’m not going to waste any more time on this. This thread should just be deleted, that would be best. Now, I no longer give a flying fuck what all of you think. I’m at a good place in my life right now and I don’t want anything to get ruined because I made this thread in the first place. I just want it gone. Admins should make an exception to the stupid policy and just get rid of it. None of you people actually know me and you don’t know what I’m like or why I post and what’s true or not, what’s exaggerated and what’s not.
And I still don’t believe you’re the same person who wrote the OP. ETA: Which was pretty damn lucid for someone who was drunk, and pretty damn measured for someone who claims to have exaggerated.
