Is my search foo fubarred?

I wanted to search on interactions I have previously had with a particular user, so I went to the search page:

Keyword(s): <the particular user’s name>
Dropdown: search entire posts

User name: The Great Unwashed
Dropdown: Find posts by user
Exact name: checked

Search options:
At least: 0 replies
Any date and newer

Search in: All open forums
Also search in child forums: checked

This yielded no results, which is not wrong, I know have previously quoted the user in question.

What am I doing wrong?

You may have quoted the user in question, but that wouldn’t come up in your search. Have you ever used their name?

The standard style on this board puts the attribution inside the quote box (incorrectly, but I’ve given up on fighting that fight), and nothing inside a quote box will show up in a search.
