Is "Netflix and Chill" a euphemism for sex?

The modern version of “Would you like to come up and see my etchings?”

ETA: I really need to read the whole thread.

It’s gonna be hard to beat the radio show example. That was painful funny.

count me among them until now.

I did not know this. I am very glad I know this. I’m going to have to have a chat with one of my kids.

Great googly moogly people.

That’s the best thing I’ve read all day.

Round up the fam!

It’s more the modern version of “Og have good animal drawing in cave. Want come look?”

You may also come across teens using “DTF”, as in “Are you DTF”.
Apparently it means “Doing the Facebook”.

now I’m even more lost.

a growing part of me can’t wait until my time on this planet is done.

God, how old am I?
I asked the lil’wrekker, she confirmed it means come over and have sex.
She also added in her dorm, saying ‘Come to my room and have ramen’ means were gonna need privacy.
Me and her are having an eye opening discussion, right.this.minute.

This all begs a couple of questions… first, why the Yoof of today, when sexual mores are more relaxed than they’ve been possibly since ever, feel the need for a euphemism quite so coy and inscrutable as “Netflix and chill”

Secondly, what do they say when they actually just want to watch a movie?

DOOOO YOOOO WHAAAAANT TOOOO WAAAATCH AAAAAYYYY MOOOOOVEEEEEEEE, I’m thinking.

I’m no longer confident that that doesn’t mean sex too. Or won’t by next year…

“I used to be with it, then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now, what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ any more, and what is ‘it’ seems weird and scary to me. And it’ll happen to you, too!” - Abe Simpson

Let’s go to the quarry and throw stuff down there! Excellent! I’m totally stealing this!

Yes, I totally thought “Netflix and chill” meant…movies and nothing in particular. Why must people make language such a minefield?

Just like how it took me years to discover that the term “birthday suit” doesn’t, actually, mean a birthday outfit.

OK, I laughed.

It depends on what ‘it’ is.

Dammit.

No wonder she looked at me funny when she said she wanted to do it like they do on the Discovery Channel and I turned on the tv.
