Welp, the Mooch won that battle. Priebus OUT.
She’s a VP for the company he founded and then sold to go to work for Trump. They’ve been married 3 years and have two kids. As a ‘friend’ is quoted in the article: “I don’t know who Deidre thought she was marrying but anyone who knows Anthony knows he’s an ambitious man.”
Bananas come in bunches, nitpickers come in troops.
I love that post.
Excellent in so many ways.
Meh. It’s worth a try. What’ve we got to lose?
The only way this week could end better is if Priebus and Smooch’s wife hook up. But they’re probably saving that reveal for the after-show…
More like: Never attribute to genius that which is adequately explained by savancy.
Winston Churchill?

I was going to point out that too, it is telling that after what we saw coming from Dr. Ben Carson it should be clear that the Republicans are admiring now people that can be great on one issue and all thumbs on everything else.
It really does remind me of a classic short video from Science writer Peter Hadfield where he pointed out how many lay people do ignore that when you are an expert in one field it does not mean that you are an expert on everything.
[QUOTE] [John Coleman, founder of The Weather Channel]: "As a *scientist* I know that global warming doesn't really exist at all in any sense of significance".Peter Hadfield [Narrating a previous recording of Coleman]: “Well, thanks for the reassurance John, only one problem: Hello?! You’re not a scientist! You got a degree in media studies and became a TV weatherman and while you claim to be a meteorologist the American Meteorological Society disagrees. You’re not on the list of certified broadcast meteorologists; in other words: TV weather personalities with degrees in meteorology.”

So the current administration is ruled by one of the biggest savants out there and their kind are flocking to get around him. The kind of those that are not even capable to notice how incompetent they are outside their fields.
Sounds like Avik Roy. Such fun watching him get schooled by actual economists.
Schrödinger’s (Mal)Administration?
Great, now he’s got the time to do Dancing With the Stars, competing with Spicer.
Damnit. Missed that.
People are fucking idiots. Do you believe this? If so, you’re a fucking idiot. Every single person who believes this is a fucking idiot. The kind of person who thinks, “hey, the last few times we blew up the world order without a clear plan ended in fucking disaster, but this time it will go perfectly swell!”
I think the saddest thing is the comments. People actually believe liberals think this.
people believe all sorts of sad things - it is REALLY best to not read comments on fb. for me, anyway, it’s just a deep hole of horrible.
I could totally give up facebook at any time…if it wasn’t for the baby goat videos.
Oh, you kid!
I guess we will get to see revised financial disclosure forms from the Mooch
I haven’t read most of the thread, but given these four things:
- He’s got a strong cursing problem.
- He’s going through a divorce.
- He’s had to take a job working for a commonly recognized insane idiot.
- He’s had to take a job working for a guy with politics diametrically opposite to his own.
I think we can reasonably assume the following two things:
- His ex really has him over the barrel in the divorce litigation.
- It would be unsurprising to find out that he (like Marc Kasowitz) has a problem with drinking.
I somewhat doubt that his new job is going to help him to clean up his life.
