Is Skipmagic always this laughable?

Who is worse, the jerk or the posters who let the jerk get under their skin?

Valteron, you were the one who put the gasoline on that train wreck thread about Gideon bibles right? That was a chuckle factory.

Shut the fuck up, you fucking troll.

It’s not the idiotic OPs that bother me so much. It’s how he’s always trying to appear an innocent and undeserving target of ire. Post stupid stuff if you wish but own up to it.

And if you really wanna know, if you’re banned, when you log in the screen says something to the effect of “This ip address” or “This username has been banned.”

And then the computer explodes your penis.

Larry, it’s “I refer to the incident of Cervaise vs 2.5 Inches.”
It’s more fun that way.

Oh, and Val? Have a great life with your significant other.

The jerk.

That was easy. Next question…

Until you are forced to read the jerk’s posts, I think you are wrong! Isn’t arrogance great? :stuck_out_tongue:

People always go off on this “not forced to read anyone’s posts” angle, but that’s not the point. I can choose to read someone’s posts, and still think they are a jerk and complain about them. That’s the nature of message boards. Free exchange and all that. One cannot be a jerk without an observer, after all.

Isn’t that Schroedinger’s Troll?

No, I think it’s more along the lines of, “If someone is being a trollish jerk in the forest, and there are no posters around to annoy, is he still a trollish jerk?”

I’m not placing myself in the same league, but didn’t Oscar Wilde say something like, “If you are not offending at least one person with what you write, why bother?”?

It seems if Mr Wilde were to start posting now, he wouldn’t last 10 minutes on here, and what a shame that would be.

Are you saying that Oscar Wilde wrote with the primary purpose of offending others?

“A gentleman is one who never hurts anyone’s feelings unintentionally.”
–Wilde

Kingsley Amis - "If you can’t annoy somebody, there’s little point in writing.”

A slight difference there.

Oscar Wilde had wit.

Offending people is easy. Offending them while saying something worthwhile is a challenge, and it’s one Valteron generally doesn’t reach because he gets carried away with his righteous outrage.

On the contrary, I think Oscar Wilde would have a hoot posting here.

It’s a bit of a stretch for you to place yourself in the same species as Wilde.

Spit it out Bryan, (No, not your dummy, you can still type with that in!), what do you really mean?

I think that’s what he meant when he said you’re not exactly Oscar Wilde.

I believe he means that an infinite number of monkeys, given an infinite amount of time, would eventually produce the entire works of Wilde.

Your posts would require 4 monkeys and roughly 25 minutes.
