Is the Cadbury Flake bar available in Montreal?

Staying in Montreal (Drummond and Sainte Catherine) with friends until tomorrow (Sunday).

One friend in our group is on a hunt for a candy bar he’s having trouble finding in the U.S., hoping to bring it home for a friend of his.

Cadbury Flake

If anyone knows where he could find it around here, or somewhere between Montreal and the U.S./Vermont border at Route 89, it would be greatly appreciated.

It’s not a Canadian chocolate bar, but a specialty candy store might import it from the U.K. I know some stores in Toronto that have it, but that doesn’t help you.

Has he looked at Cost Plus World Market? They carry a lot of that sort of thing.

Try walking down the street to The Bay. They’ve got a substantial imported food selection (including chocolates) upstairs near the cafeteria.

They aren’t that exclusive. Core-Mark distributes them to tons of places.

Before our World Market shut down, I was buying them by the box! Those are some seriously delicious candy bars.

I think anything “flake” would be available in CA.

If you say so. I’ve only seen them in specialty candy shops in Toronto, though.

Do you want one after seeing this advert ? Talk about it containing a hidden message!

Doesn’t every girl want a pony?

To the OP:

I live in Ottawa (90 minutes-ish from Montreal), and I swear that I saw one of those at a dollar store all of a week ago. So I can corroborate that I HAVE seen them somewhere in Eastern Canada. I can’t speak a word as to how widespread availability is.

I used to see them at the Bay, and sometimes in the imported fancy foods section of the grocery store (IGA).
