It starts in 2 weeks in the uk, and I’ve invested so much time and effort in recordieng and posting to a friend who has no cable every episode so far. We need to know if it’s going to be worth it, so what’s the skinny?
Bear in mind that the tension combined with the ridiculousness was what we liked - is it any good?
And is his daughter - Titgirl - still in it? No strike that I don’t want to know any details - just opinions.

I think it’s pretty good. As usual, it’s chock full of tasty absurdities but if you can disable the part of your brain responsible for nitpicking you’ll have a good old time. Both the action and tension dials are cranked up to 11.
I’d say go for it dude. 
so far, no Kimnappings…not even a Kim…I LOVE it.
although by episode 4 you will start questioning how it can take 26 minutes for a mother to bring out iced tea for her son & his friend
They no longer claim that events occur in real time.
Anyhow, definitely a big thumbs up from me.

There’s still a clock. They just don’t claim that everything takes place in real time.
That’s why Jack can take the super secret non crowded freeway route from Santa Monica (where CTU is) to the Santa Clarita Valley in 15 minutes.
I’ve been impressed with the season thus far - much, much better than last season.
As someone who loved Season 1, Liked Season 2, and found Season 3 totally uninteresting (even if I did watch the whole thing), I like Season 4 quite a bit.

I hadn’t watched any of the 3 previous seasons and I am really enjoying the show.
Yep – it’s starting out good (better I think than the start of season 3), and the most annoying character from season 3 has actually been pretty cool this season.
5 hours into it here in the States, and a nice start so far. Go for it!
