And if someone in government had found out about aliens, who do you think it would be? Presumably it’s be the folks in NASA, the agency which pretty much spends all of its time doing spacey stuff. But the kind of person who goes to work for NASA as a career is exactly the kind of person who would not keep quiet about aliens. They’re the kind of person who would absolutely love nothing more than to be able to say “Yes, they’re out there, and we’ve found them”, because that would be totally cool. NASA doesn’t keep any secrets. All data from all NASA missions is released in its entirety to the public at most one year after it’s collected.

I doubt that he did - we don’t spend $2.1T on defense even now, let alone in 2001. You might be confusing Don Rumsfeld with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 2001 with 2018, and $2.1T with $21T.

No, this ties back to 9/11 conspiracy theories. Rumsfeld did make a speech, just days before 9/11, that there was $2.1T of spending, over decades, that could not be properly accounted for. He was talking about antiquated government accounting systems that couldn’t pull all that info up from a centralized location. There was no implication that we don’t know what it was spent for, or that it was hidden somehow, just that our accounting systems had all of the info to track it buried in paperwork or incompatible computer databases.

The nuts took his words to mean that there was $2.1T in spending that were sooper-seekrit.

I honestly don’t even like the term alien because we all live in the same universe (or do we?). However of the interdimimensial beings as higher than us and yes I think they do have advanced tech and craft , which has been hidden from us.
