Here’s a movie I vaguely remember.
Set in the 90s or possibly late 80s but it was heavily LA riots influenced I think. It was The Warriors but with cops as the heroes.
Two undercover cops have to rescue an informant/witness who’s going to testify against a big time drug dealer. However the informant lives in an area where a huge riot/protest against police brutality is going on so the undercover cops have no backup because all units are trying to contain the riot.
The drug dealer learns of this, and puts a huge bounty on the informant and cops heads, and so after rescuing the informant the cops have to escape the area from a bunch of random gangs much like The Warriors. I think it ends at a scrapyard for the final confrontation?

Riot (1996)
Starring Gary Daniels, a film so obscure it doesn’t even have a Wikipedia article and the IMDB summary is wrong so I had to piece it together from different sources.
It’s two soldiers who are sent to rescue the British ambassadors daughter during a police brutality riot in Los Angeles, and the gang leader who kidnapped her offers a bounty to whoever can kill the soldiers. There’s also a scene where they fight a baseball themed gang too, and it does end at a scrapyard.

Saw this on streaming a few years ago. Movie is set in Japan (but is an American movie), the main character is a caucasian who works for the Yakuza (I think he may have been adopted into it as a kid/orphan) as a hitman, and is asked to be the driver for the boss’s daughter (he may have botched up a job). They secretely enter into a relationship and he runs away with her, and they are chased by the Yakuza into the countriside. I vaguely remember that they also meet up with an older woman.
I think the movie is from after 2010.
