Is there a way to flip the keyboard on an iPad to be leftie-friendly?

The iPad keyboard favours right-handed users, because the “Return” and “delete” buttons are both on the right-hand side. That means it’s easiest to use if you hold it in your left hand and use your right hand to keyboard.

Is there a command to flip the layout so the Return and Delete buttons are on the left-hand side?

Does that work on iPad? I don’t get that option when I do the steps above.

Oh, I’m on iOS 12. Is that option not available there, then? I just noticed those instructions were for iOS 11.

ETA: It seems that online tutorials say it’s available on iOS 12, but I’m only seeing cites for iPhone, nothing about using it on iPad. Am I missing something?
