Is there a way to see all the old threads of a particular poster...

…if the poster in question has started more than 750 threads?

I ask because some of the best and most esteemed posters of the board (Skald the Rhymer and Sampiro, for instance) start a lot of threads on a lot of different subjects. If they’ve been here for a few years, the number of threads can well exceed 750 (which is the limit if you search for all the threads from the link in the poster’s profile). Let’s say I’d like to go through and pick out all the polls that Skald has made, or all the stories that Sampiro has told; is there any way to access every thread started by them, or do the earlier ones simply get pushed into the internet netherworld?

You can narrow the search by forum or by date. That might help.

Yes, one strategy is to narrow the search as much as possible. Note that you can access their earliest threads by changing the sort order from “descending” to “ascending.”

:smack: I’ve been here for years and never realized this. That helped me find what I wanted. Thanks a million, Cap’n.

Changing the sort order of the search between ‘newest to oldest’ and ‘oldest to newest’ will get you a poster’s first 750 threads, and their 750 most recent threads.
