Yeah, I concede to all of the above. I suppose I was having somewhat of a bad night (note to self: never post threads after 10pm).
In retrospect, there are many topics on the board I wouldn’t want a 15-yr old boy to see…but then again, at 15, I was smoking pot and hanging out with 18 yr olds, so I suppose the former is the lesser evil. It was clearly unexcusable for me to attach “age” to “smarts” - that’s a given. However, I am grateful there’s some minimum age associated with the SDMB, given the topics that are discussed here.
I guess it’s a different world now, eh? I apologize - especially to agiantdwarf.
