This piece, a hinge that allows you to lift one half of the cover to feed the fish, broke on the cover of my aquarium.
It seems to me that there might be other uses for such a hinge that allows you to connect two pieces of glass. If the picture doesn’t make it clear, each side of the hinge contains a slot to slide a sheet of glass into. Any idea what I can search for besides “Glass Canopy Hinge”?
A Google search for "aquarium glass hinge” or "aquarium cover hinge” gets a bunch of hits.
Look for elastomeric hinges. There’s one similar to your link at San Diego Plastics.
