After releasing a bunch of whack and mediocre launch games, the future doesn’t look too bright 4 the Vita. As of right now, Marvel vs. Capcom is the best game on the system unless u are a Drake fan, but a lot of people aren’t into Drake games. As of right now, the only really good games coming out in the near future are Resistance and Gravity Rush. There still hasn’t been no major announcement of any really good games 2 come out in the future such as Residnt Evil, Yakuza, Bayonetta, Batman, or Elder Scrolls. Do u think the Vita will last, or will it fail like the Dreamcast?
I really get the feeling that Sony’s trying to tank it on purpose. I don’t know why, but since it’s the first Sony handheld since the PSP, even a mediocre amount of marketing should have it selling like hotcakes. It’s as if Sony’s trying not to advertise it.
I’m hoping it will last, as I have one. I really like it. I’ve enjoyed playing Rayman and Fifa soccer.
How soon we forget the PSPGo. (Technically a PSP, but not really.)
I think you grossly under assess the launch library of the Vita. There are a TON of games out for it considering its only been out a month in the states. Its got to be one of the largest software selections for the first month of any console. Most of the games are well recieved and there are games from nearly every genre. Yeah there are some turds but far fewer than just about any launch window I can recall. The hardware is phenomenal and once you hold it in your hands and play Uncharted or Unit 13 you will realize that it truly is a portable console with very few sacrifices taken. Compared to the first month of 3ds this launch has been epic.
As I said in my other Vita thread I do think they could market it better than they are.
I love my Vita.
