Is there electronics hobbyist software, like for building circuits?

Is there an electronic version of the classic Radio Shack “300 projects in one!” hobby kit? Is there software that I can use to build basic circuits with transistors, resistors, IC’s, diodes, etc.? I’d like something graphical, with a breadboard and “components,” but that I can use to learn on and that will also test circuits for me and show me what I did wrong or what component is incorrect when I make a mistake.

Does this exist? It should!

I found this one; it only has 21 experiments, but it’s a start.

Edit: There’s actually three different ones on that page. $215 each, though :frowning:

Ahhhhhh! And they don’t even include a SCREENSHOT!?

You’re asking too much.

Circuit Shop allows you to build and run/test electronic (digital and analog) circuits. I’ve used a utility similar to this but I’m having a lot of trouble finding it right now…

And, it includes some sort of tutorial on basic electronics.

Ah yes, Circuit Maker is what I’ve used before. It includes dozens of sample circuits, including low pass filters, op amp uses, half adder, assorted logic circuits, and other useful goodies for the electronics student or hobbyist.

I hope this helps!
