Is this a real Episode III Spoiler, or just Fanboy Speculation?

I’m trying to avoid EpIII spoilers as much as possible (I haven’t seen the trailer yet , and I ain’t opening the Café Society “EpIII Trailer” Thread).

However, there’s a bit of Vader history that I’ve come across inadvertently- but I don’t know if it’s official. Now, I don’t want spoilers but, since I can’t unhear what I’ve already heard, I want to know if it’s:

Real EpIII Material
Fanboy Speculation
or
Expanded Universe / non-canon

See, I don’t want to watch EpIII wondering the whole time whether or not it’s going to happen. Basically, although I don’t want spoilers, if I have inadvertently heard a spoiler I want to KNOW that it is a spoiler so wondering about it doesn’t distract me as I’m watching the movie.

Now, if the answer to my question is “Yes, it’s in EpIII”, please LIMIT the answer to “Yes, it’s in EpIII” without spoiling any further. So, tell me, in EpIII:

Does Anakin / Vader fall into a pit of lava?

I hope it’s just fanboy speculation, ‘cause this just sounds incredibly lame.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it’s a rumor I’ve been hearing since the early 80’s.

Yes, its in EPIII. It’s been widely known for a long time AFAIK. It shows it as backdrop in the new trailer.

Yes - the final battle is Vader and Anakin “surfing on lava using the force” while fighting. Lame.

Ummm… eh?

Ooopsilly! Vader and Obi-Wan. Brain no worky late at night.

Well… in a sense both Vader and Anakin are in the fight. Anakin goes in, Vader comes out.

Yes … from a certain point of view.

No, it’s not, and unless you can find the shots of the finished movie to prove this to me, THIS is a perfect example of speculation. Albeit not from a fanboy, this is speculation from people who WANT the movie to fail miserably.

Honestly, this message board is the first place I ever heard the “surfing on lava” crap (another person apparently conceived this image when he decided to remark on it in a previous Ep 3 thread), and this is coming from someone who frequents the message boards on starwars.com and theforce.net

Fighting on a volcanic world does not equate to surfing on lava.

What, is this gonna be like when Clark Kent fought Evil Superman in Superman III ?

One can only hope.

Look, gang, I agree that this is almost certainly fanboy speculation. However, the OP has asked that it be given “spoiler” treatment, so I’ve edited the prior posts to reflect that. OK?

Then, after the fight, Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello come by and sing a beach song
