I was surfing “Cruel site of the day” and followed one of their links to this site.

I thought, being a Cruel Site pick, that it would be by or about some poor schizo schlump. As I started reading it, I realized that Paul Winchell, well known (at least when I was a boy) as a ventriloquist, was quite serious and his reasoning well thought out. I have no opinion one way or the other about what he says although I’d like to talk about it if any of y’all want to.

I think a lot of people here are in the same boat as this guy, where they see that the bible is self-contradictory, and describes a God that is not a perfect being. Some become atheists, others still have faith in God but ignore the bible, or treat it as a useful fiction.
