Not to be confused with Donald Giovanni from P.D.Q. Bach’s The Abduction of Figaro.
P.D.Q. Bach, huh? Yes, I guess I am thoroughly whooshed.
I guess you know and I am being whooshed, but I can’t avoid nitpicking that Don Quijote’s name is neither Don nor Quijote, it is Alonso Quijano.
I’m sure Trump gets whooshed so often he thinks the windmills are stalking him.
“Where’s Hunter? Remember that one? That was a big one.”
“They all say something changed about him. I haven’t changed. Maybe I’ve gotten worse”
“Hannibal Lecter! You know who that was. He was a mildly troubled patient in an insane asylum”
“15 years ago San Francisco was the greatest city in the country”
More babbling about migrant cage fights
“We will make America strawwwww agains strong”
I heard speculation today that Trump’s campaign had put all their focus on Biden, and when he dropped out they had no material. So Trump just has to wing it, even more than usual, and you see what happens.
If I were responsible for such things, I’d be running “old man Trump” ads with the best cherry picked snippets. I don’t know if Trump is actually declining, since he’s always been an idiot, but I’m sure we can paint that picture.
Weird Old man Pedo …People are saying…those pictures with Epstein, all sweaty.

I would have thought he would just go with Crooked Kamala. Unlike Crooked Joe Biden or Crooked Hillary, Crooked Kamala has a nice alliteration to it. It has been amusing watching MAGA spin their wheels hoping to find something to stick it to Harris with. It’s like watching a clumsy puppy try to quickly change directions while running across the kitchen.

That presumes that he has any sense of poetry or knows what “alliteration” is.

Hey, they could even use the song ‘Old Man Trump’, written by Woody Guthrie, as a theme song!
Yes, it’s actually about Fred Trump, but the lyrics could, almost word for word, apply to Donald as well.
“She got rid of the laugh. I haven’t seen the crazy laugh. She’s crazy. That laugh, that’s a laugh of a crazy person. She is not using that laugh anymore”
“The debate should take place before the votes are cast”
“He made a statement about families. That doesn’t mean people a member of a family with 400 children, it doesn’t mean he’s not against anything”
There are days when Trump reminds me of when Adam West played the Mayor of Quahog on the show Family Guy.
For some examples:
But really, I can see similarities.
“The debate should take place before the votes are cast”
The quote is “start being cast,” so it doesn’t sound unreasonable to me. Vote by mail ballots show up here in late September.
“He made a statement about families. That doesn’t mean people a member of a family with 400 children, it doesn’t mean he’s not against anything”
This is actually far more incoherent than what Trump said. (The X poster’s bad, not Smapti’s.) Not that Trump’s actual remarks were brilliant or anything - far from it, it sounds like he is desperately extemporizing because he can’t think of something substantive to say - but they made some kind of sense at least.
TRUMP: He’s got tremendous support. And he really does among a certain group of people, people that like families. He made a statement having to do with families. That doesn’t mean that people that aren’t a member of a big and beautiful family with 400 children around and everything else, it doesn’t mean that a person doesn’t have – he’s not against anything – but he loves family. It’s very important to him. He grew up in a very interesting family situation. And he feels family is good. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong in saying that.
Yeah, I don’t think either version was particularly clear. As usual it’s word salad. I don’t get how he gets away with this with hardly a mention in average press.
This is actually far more incoherent than what Trump said. (The X poster’s bad, not Smapti’s.)
In the afternoon and evenings I’m often posting during a break or an idle moment at work, so I relied on the text because my coworkers don’t deserve to have Trump’s voice inflicted on them.
Looking at his more complete remarks, I don’t think he actually knows what Vance said or why people have a problem with it.
This is actually far more incoherent than what Trump said.
Both versions seem to include a big and beautiful family with 400 children, no? Is Trump now a member of FLDS? I can’t see how a man will have 400 children without many, many, many, many wives.
I can’t see how a man will have 400 children
Well remember, Trump has been to Epstein Island several times.
I don’t think he actually knows what Vance said
Both versions seem to include a big and beautiful family with 400 children, no?
Though both of the above statements are true, I think it is foolish to equate the Acyn statement with the full quote.
We won’t win this election if we insist on only seeing what we want to see. The truth is that the Acyn statement grossly distorted what Trump actually said.
