Pay attention. The Hypocrisy occurred on June 8th.
or at least 1/8,000,000 of it is.
I say, AGAIN, it wasn’t about defending or protecting Weiner AT ALL.
It’s the political fight and showing some backbone and leadership. Condemn Weiner’s actions but uphold the process of government. Tell the press and the public that it’s up to Weiner’s conscience, family, and constituents, and NY who will have to pay for a special election.
It’s taking the obvious political opportunity to remind voters that the GOP basically condoned and supported the moral failures of their own members.
Ensign is out, and his misdeeds had a lot more to do with his ability to hold office. It’s years too late to make any kind of valid point about Vitter. Ultimately, trying to make this point would have been perceived as defending Weiner and it wouldn’t have hurt the Republicans.
From their standpoint, they did deal with it intelligently. They did what they could to make sure it couldn’t hurt them politically in the next session. Picking your battles is part of politics.
The loud heckling? That was Benjy Bronk, he’s one of Howard Stern’s people.
I have no idea what credentials, if any, were required to be at the conference. If they had restrictions I’d like to know how he got invited, seems journalistic standards are getting pretty low.
I heard some of Weiner’s weenie speech. What struck me was how he "had to heal ".
Why do these degenerates always cast their actions as someone else’s doing?
“Heal” from what?
The guy is a degenerate and a pervert.
End of story.
“had to heal” doesn’t mean he’s blaming anyone. I would imagine he’s referring to destructive compulsive behavior. I would say his behavior is kinky. In light of his career monumentally reckless and stupid. Within the last year it would also qualify as some form of cheating on his wife, although he wasn’t sleeping with anyone.
