I wanted to go to a specific time on a YouTube video, and headed over to youtubetime.com. It wasn’t there. Or at least, it seemed to be ads instead of the page. I manually entered the code to the URL (#t=0m40s) instead.
Has the youtubetime website been closed?

I wonder if they’ve been hacked, or if they didn’t pay their hosting bill.
While we’re here, what exactly did the website do that adding the timecode to the YouTube URL didn’t?
It added the timecode for you. Enter the link, enter the time, and then grab the link. Because I could never remember the code I posted.
If you’re on a video on YouTube itself, and you click the “Share” button, it gives you the option of setting a “start at” time and the resulting link will include the timecode.
I did not know that.
You can also invoke that by right-clicking the little progress dot in the red line that shows how far into the video it is currently playing.
