Link to a particular spot in a you tube video

I will swear I saw someone say how to do this here a while back, but I will be damned if I can find the link.
So if I want to send a friend a you tube video and have it start playing at say 1 minute 15 seconds in, how do I do this?
Thanks

to the end of the link add #t=00m00s

so yours would be #t=1m15s

They’ve added it to the website functionality now. On the video’s page underneath it and to the right are 3 tabs: About Share and Add To. Click on Share and there’s a big link box with a check box, the words start at and a time field. Check the box, put in your start time and copy the link.

This worked like a champ, thanks!
Inner Stickler No check box. :frowning:

You can also right click the video and select “Copy video URL at current time”

Ooh, I’ll try that.

Wow, I didn’t know you could do that! Cool info!
I would have just given the link and told them where to look in the video.

You da ‘man’, PSXer!

I always do this. It’s a lot easier than trying to remember the exact format of the timestamp stuff in the URL. Plus, I don’t have to remember the exact time of interest; I just watch the video until the good stuff is about to start, then right-click, “copy URL at current time,” and I’m good to go.
