IT GOT ME!!!!!!ARRGH

Ok so I have previously posted on my large dislike of Christmas, but I am afraid that the yuletide bug has bitten me. Last night I went stupid, buying presents for all and sundry, the people upstairs, the people next door, nearly went as far as the neighbor’s cat. I have had a bouncy morning giving out all these things and feeling more than a little warm and fuzzy when they open them. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?? I am unable to sit still in my office, not sure whether I can handle this. In a further bout of good will otherwise not apparent in my character I am even volunteering at a shelter on Christmas day to give out lunches. I still disapprove of Christmas perse, but anything that gives me a bit joy is not so bad.
Even the weather is london is fantastic in London today - I tell you the world is coming to an end because things like this don’t usually happen.
Anyway, I couldn’t buy everyone on the board presents but am sending good old thoughts out - hope that you all have magical experiences.
Anyone else just revelling in the gift giving? (not the recieving now, don’t be all superficial)

I love giving gifties. It’s better than receiving, especially when you can pull off a surprise. Merry Merry you Brit!

The only part of this Christmas that I don’t like is that my husband bought all the cool stuff he wanted in the last few weeks, depriving me of the joy of giving. It’s socks and underwear for him, baby!

That’s it Gumby! You found the joy of Christmas despite all the commercialization hype. You have earned yourself a place on Santa’s “Nice” list.
If you carry on with that joy and generosity into the new year, you will have a wonderful year.

Peace on Earth and Peace to You

I went to Circuit City yesterday and looked around. tempted to buy a lot of stuff, but settled on a portable cd player/radio at $29.00 Not for me, of course.

Not much shopping at all in my city. But then who would pay $275.00 for rusty lawn furniture?
