Jim Boob and J’chelle have been ludicrously holding themselves as moral examples to the rest of us for years. The sight of those stupid, smug fuckers finally getting their comeuppance deserves every single ha-ha on the planet.

On the topic of schadenfreude, I was perusing the free weekly rag this morning to find out what the Controversy of the Week is in the letters section. That’s where I found a gem of a letter from someone who got pulled for DWI and then proceeded to whine about how unfair it was and how can Hippy Hollow call itself Beer City and then pull people over for DWI. The online version has the director’s cut with 400% more whining.
I highly recommend reading this letter if you need a laugh. I’m guessing Ms. Whiny McWhinypants has never known anyone killed or injure by a drunk driver and so does not realize why LEOs crack down so hard on impaired driving.
Except that he wasnt drunk. All he did was forget to put on his headlights.
OK, so I read the letter. Um…
Now, I’m not from the USA so I have to admit I’m not fully up on your DWI laws. Also, there may well be some facts missing from the letter. But what I got from the letter was:
*She was pulled over for ‘impaired driving’ (not having her headlights on?).
*She was then arrested, handcuffed and taken to the police station, based only on that one thing.
*She had to repeatedly give a breath test, and she passed every one.
*She was then charged and convicted anyway? 
Frankly, while I’m in no way condoning any sort of drunk driving, I think I have to side with her on this. If that had happened to me, I’d feel the same way.
As an aside, do your LEO’s not use roadside breathalysers? If not, why not? It would certainly save a lot of that ‘walk along a straight line’ type stuff that I keep seeing and provides a much more precise, objective result.
Note that a higher court did overturn the conviction, so the driver wasnt guilt after all.
Yeah, that was kind of my point. If she’d actually been guilty (which was what I was expecting when I opened the link), then no sympathy from me and I’d have enjoyed a good laugh. But that wasn’t the case here.
So, I don’t keep up with the news at all - what is the Cliff Notes on what has happened to the Duggars?
It was revealed that the oldest son had fiddled with several young women including a few of his sisters several years ago.

I really dont think this is anything to be happy about, in fact we should all feel sorrow for the victims, and hope some sort of justice is meted out to Josh.
I feel extremely happy that Jim Boob and J’chelle will probably never dare screech that women who get raped should be forced into a pregnancy against their will. I feel extremely happy they will probably never dare again compare gays to child molesters. I feel extremely happy that J’Chelle will probably never again open her yap to tell us how to raise our kids.
This is justice and I am indeed happy about it!
I stuck around the house to watch a segment on NBC that was teased about phone hacking. Thought I should watch to be aware of new tech I should see about protecting myself from. The news? Downloading an app or clicking and email link from an untrusted source can be dangerous.

Dear Josh, JimBoob, and J’chelle: “Teenage mistakes” are when you “borrow” a six-pack from your dad’s garage beer fridge for a party. When you egg or TP your high school. When you run your car into a ditch because you lack the experience and judgment to avoid that sort of thing.
“Teenage mistakes” do not include groping and sexually molesting children. While we’re at it, “homosexual” doesn’t equal “pedophile.” “Transsexual” doesn’t equal “pervert.” And you can call yourselves Christians all day long, if you wish. That doesn’t make you any more Christian than I am (and I’m most decidedly not.) If you wish for me to consider you Christians, please shut the fuck up and begin to protect the defenseless, like your own daughters. That Jesus dude taught some pretty awesome stuff, and I’d like to see a few more of his followers actually practicing what he preached.
Exactly. There’s a huge different between stupid teenager mistakes and criminal behavior. This was the later and the Duggars can f off for failing to report it to the police, truly punish their son (or get him the help he needed) and protect their daughters.

You people – and I use that term lightly – are disgusting. What kind of lunatic sides with measles instead of people? Their pipeline to the public is a lot smaller than it used to be, without their TLC program, but if you think any of this is going to change their minds or shut them up from as much of this as they can continue to spew, I must accuse you of a certain naiveté, or possibly wishful thinking.
In other words, if only. If only real-world evidence that their beliefs are utter garbage could convince people to abandon said beliefs.
