When we moved into this house 8.5 years ago I told my husband it would be nice to have a better light above the washing machine. That way I could see the stains better. I am not a nag and so I only mentioned it 3-4 more times over the years. Last weekend he finally installed it.
So it took 8.5 years to install the light fixture. Well, 8.5 years and 30 minutes, really.
Maybe he spent that 8.5 years wondering when you were going to get around to installing that light fixture that you apparently wanted so much 
How many of you did it take to screw in the light bulb?
They wouldn’t fit in the light bulb; she thanked him elsewhere in the house!
