It's a gas gas gas

Ok, here’s the deal.
For some reason, recently, I have had a lot of gas. Lots. Some foul, some not. I have always had a lot of gas it seems. Once in 7th grade I was sent to the office for ‘farting.’

Am I the only one that seems to be full of gas? Is there anything that I can do to quell the flatulent beast which resides in me? A friend told me that benedryl tablets will help, and I noticed that it did, somewhat. That could get expensive. I’d hold it in, but that tends towards pain. I don’t like pain. Well, maybe some pain is fine, but… but not this pain.

sounds like you may be lactose intolerant.
cut out dairy products or try lactaid.

also try taking “beano”

Try Mylanta Gas. It comes in gross cherry flavored chewables or tablets. Or, if you don’t want to shell out big bucks for the brand name, just buy generic Simethicone.
Hope that helps,

I told you not to be stupid, you moron.

You’re not the only one, Brood. I’ve had that happen lately too. But I don’t believe I’m lactose intolerant because it happens after I eat anything and I hardly eat any dairy. Not sure what it is but I’m going to the doctor soon and if I find out, Brood, I’ll be sure to tell you, too.

When are you going to realize being normal isn’t necessarily a good thing?

Gas all day? (from memory) the average person lets go of something like 13 quarts (how the measure I don’t know) of gas per day.
Dairy could certainly be a problem, but so can many combinations of food. Eating fruit after just about any meal can cause gas. Fruit/sugar will ferment because it’s not getting digested quickly. Product - gas.

You sure you aren’t referring to bovines?

13 quarts??
