It’s sunny out, which is a good thing. The high today is 65, so a pretty nice day.
Finally heard back from Sah-son’s teacher, the work he sent as attachments is being accepted with no points deleted. However, most of his grades still haven’t been posted, which is very frustrating for him. The class is halfway over, it’d be nice to have some feedback and to know where he stands.
Something must be wrong with my irk phone, or their system. My phone rings once and disconnects. If I call it from another phone it works so the issue must be on their end. Guess I’d better call them and find out what is going on.

Howdy Mumpers! Thank God it’s Firday! I have been here at irk for a while. I gave a ride to our accounting tech cause her car is in the shop and she lives on my island 30 miles up the road. I came early to get her to irk on time.
Tis Boss’s Day and I got two nice cards, a carrot cake and a new Tervis tumbler. My employee’s are the best.
It is raining here and going to rain all weekend according to the weather PTB. I’m good with rain.
Metal Mouse I am doing a stay-cation. I have plans to do a lot of house work spring cleaning type stuff. We will see how much I actually get done. I will be taking a week off in Nov and Dec as I have a bunch of leave to use or lose. I don’t intend to lose any of it. I lost 6 hours last year so lesson learned.

I’ve been doing the same. In my case though it’s because I feel stressed by everything that needs to be done.
My sinus doc gave me the green-light to wash things out with a neti pot. Washed out something big enough to qualify for its own Social Security number. <bleargh!> Felt good to get it out, though.
Remember the neighbors across the street with their trailers full of junk? They moved out at the first of the month, and now, a crew is gutting the kitchen, filling a truck with busted-up cabinets, doors, blinds, and ceramic tile. Guessing those people were horrible people that managed to ruin the place in just over a year as the house had been rehabbed before they moved in.
Howdy Y’all! After cake got done, I accomplished nappage whilst it cooled. ‘Tis now out of the pan and is a thing of beauty. Tastes good too. What? I couldn’t very well take a cake to folks without knowin’ if’n it’s any good now could I? 
Anywho Ima take it all sliced up so who’s gonna know.

Don’t know if you watch it, but there’s a program (can’t for the life of me remember the name) on cable about this Vegas couple who buy homes and fix them up for resale…amazing what people will do to property that they are either investing good money in or paying a lot to rent for their living quarters.
Hope the next neighbors are slightly…tidier.
ETA: I think its called “Flipping Las Vegas”, and there are several other like-shows around too.
My brain is going, I don’t know where it’s going but it’s going without me.
Three times in the last two days I’ve left stuff on the counter instead of putting it back in the fridge.
Today I went outside to get a package, stopped to talk to the neighbor, totally forgetting I had lunch in the oven.
Did I tell y’all that my hair is falling out? I think from the surgery, it seems that can happen about 3 months afterwards. I’m taking Biotin for that.
I guess I should get back to irk. I want the bonus.
Today flew by! I worked my way thru all 5 tutorials in the first section - my cube mate is still on section 2. The problem I have with the tutorials is they just say “Click here, enter this, click there” without explaining exactly why you do certain things. Not helpful if I’m not going to be designing piston heads, which I’m not… But I am more familiar with the software, so there’s that. And I’ve been making a list of questions so I can ask everything at once.
Cubemate moves to his new cube early next week. I’ll move a week or so after. We won’t be sharing - YAY! And I’m on the side near a window, so I’ll get a bit of natural light over the wall. I might take a plant in!
Pizza being delivered for supper - someone at work had pizza for lunch and it gave me a serious hankerin’!

Other than that, it’s quiet. The hubby picked up pizza for lunch. I suspect that means pizza leftovers for dinner as well.
I think I need to buy some beer to go with that…
Magic Intartoobz Pizza (it’s pizza night in the MMP!) has been ingested along with sallit cause that makes it all healthy. OYKW has sampled the cake and pronounced it good. Nice to know I won’t be inflictin’ bad cake on friends.

Bringing the poor cat to the vet on Sunday. I hope they’ll say he’s doing all right, but he’s been walking funny and holding his head at an odd angle, not to mention how thin he’s been getting, so it’s worrying.
I’ll be selling crafts at a craft fair tomorrow.

You *are *new around here. I was being gentle. 
We get pissed off at those flipping shows so we don’t watch them. Back when we did watch them, we saw all sorts of horrors like just painting over black mold or dropping another layer of plywood on the floor instead of repairing the actual rotten structural problems. After that, the standard mascara on a pig formula always seemed to be black granite overlays in the kitchen, bargain-basement oak or cherry cabinets, the cheapest possible stainless steel appliances and a couple buckets of either Cottage White or Dapper Tan paint. Caveat emptor!
Regardless, the house across the street isn’t a flip. It’s still owned by the rental company that bought it a couple of years ago.

Pizza has been ingested. **FCD **is making… something… on his new router table. I’ve decided to make a few pairs of fingerless mitts for the store, and I think I’ll try to stencil some towels, too. It’s going to be a quite chilly weekend - good for inside activities. We may even light off the pellet stove!
