Sorry for my outburst, but I have to share my excitement.
I am about to be an aunt again!
My sis-in-law went into the hospital about 3 hours ago. They did some “scraping of the uterus” (God that sounds painful) last week and had an appoint to go into the hospital today.
Well, she’s in there and my bro’s and sis-in-law’s hope is the baby will be born tomorrow, leap day of 2000. Too cool!
Anyhow, I am staying awake as long as I can and hope to hear the good news soon after midnight!
That’s the good thing about being the aunt…I get to enjoy them then hand them off to mommy and daddy when they get out of control!
I have 3 other, one neice by marriage (the sis-in-law’s daughter my “step-niece”) One niece from my big brother/sis-in-law, one nephew from same and one from the first bro/sis-in-law mentioned on the way.
I am sooooo excited, I hope my dad calls me regardless of the time to let me know what the scoop is!
Maybe my sis-in-law had child over night and my father hasn’t called…once I woke up this morning I couldn’t fall back asleep thinking about my new neice or nephew!
I 'spose I will call my dad in an hour or so.

Rhyse Daniel, born 11:27 MT 8 pounds 9 ounces…he’s a big 'un! (That’s Rhyse as in Reese, my brother is a part-time writer and apparently this is an English name)
The news came by and took footage of my nephew (Leap Year 2000) and should be on our local news…thats even better!
He is sooo cute. He was crying a little, his cute little eyes not used to the light kept opening and closing.
Later in his mother’s arms (she was kind of out of it as you can imagine) he almost started sucking on his fingers. How a purple looking kid can be so cute is above me < grim > but he’s cute none-the-less.
On the flip side I had to argue with a nurse that my sis-in-law was in this particular hospital…digbat. I missed being outside the door by about 1 minute But I was the third one (outside of the happy couple and the hospital staff) to see the little one…even got to see them weigh him and take care of his now belly button…

My other nephew is Michealroo, one niece is Sarahbug (older niece is 8, no need to alienate her) now I have one for Rhys…(I accidentally added an E to the end of his name earlier…
