IMO, ER, NYPD Blue and West Wing all promise killer season premiers. I’m most looking forward to NYPD Blue, to find out what happens with the shooting that they closed with this past season. I mean, on West Wing, I do want to know how things turn out with Zoe, but not as much as I want to know about Blue!
So, what season premier are you most looking forward to, and why?
I’m looking forward to the Third Watch premiere. Someone got shot, and I want to know who.
24 should be good, if they can top this past season.
Others that I watch are CSI (the original), Without A Trace and Boomtown*.
And ER. Although I hear the season ender won’t be wrapped up till the second or third show. Major ER spoiler:
In the premiere, the ER gets a call that Luka has died in Africa, and in the second episode, Carter goes back to Africa to bring his body back to Chicago. When he gets there, he finds out that Luka has malaria and is gravely ill.
As far as new shows, I’m looking forward to The Lyon’s Den with Rob Lowe and Kyle Chandler.
Well, on the top of my list is Angel. And being a buffygeek™, 'm gonna check out Eliza Dushku’s new show Tru Calling. I’ve seen the pilot and it looks good, if not astonishing.
Other returning shows: C.S.I. West Wing, 24 and of course the new Sopranos whenever they’re gonna put it on the air.
I second The West Wing. I didn’t start watching the show until mid-way through the second season, so I’m excited for the reruns on Bravo to start so I can catch up on the backstory.
I’m also looking forward to Ed. When NBC moved it to Fridays, I was sure it was doomed, but surprisingly, they decided not to cancel one of the best shows on TV.
The Sopranos
Six Feet Under
24
The Shield
Survivor
Carnivale
Tennessee Titans NFL games
Auburn SEC games (Georgia, too, unless there’s an Auburn conflict)
Yeah, some IAB guy had a hard-on for both Rodriguez and Sipowicz, and was going after them, determined to get someone’s badge. Well, Rodriguez handled him pretty well. But one night, the IAB jerk shows up at Rodriguez’ office, stone drunk, yelling, calling names, etc. The only other person left in the precinct is the female latino detective. What’s her name again? Anyway, Rodriquez tells the asshole “Leave my office now, or I’ll pound your face in” (or something like that), and you think the guy’s gonna leave, then you see the gun in his hand! Yikes! Well, the female detective sees this, behind the window of the Lietenant’s office, and pulls her weapon, and shoots the IAB guy! Great cliff-hanger!
LOL Gaspode aren’t the I one who told you that? Besides, I know…I’ve read all the fucking sides, which comprised nearly the entire script…and not one mention of spike. They’re trying to kill me, I know it.
