I’m most looking forward to “Reaper” and maybe “Chuck” of the new shows.
Returning shows? Gimme my “Supernatural”! Gimme gimme! (With a side order of “Ugly Betty,” por favor.)
How about you?

“Journeyman” on NBC looks really promising. Set in San Francisco starring the hot and talented Kevin McKidd (Lucius Vorenus from HBOs Rome!) as a newspaper reporter who travels through time. Literally, what more could you ask for? (Besides a good plot, which I do indeed hope it has…)
HEROES.
Yeah, I think that may be about it.
I’ll watch most of NBC’s Thursday night lineup (30 Rock, The Office, Scrubs, Earl).
I really enjoyed Damian Lewis in Band of Brothers, so I think I’ll check out his new show, Life, also on NBC.
ETA: Also waiting for LOST in the winter. Maybe 24, but after last season, it’s not looking so good.
Dexter’s second season starts the 30th, so I’ll be watching that.
Supernatural, Bones, House, E.R.(inertia), How I Met Your Mother, One Tree Hill when it comes back…you know, the usual suspects.
Nothing I’ve read about any of the new shows has really interested me, but the guy who wrote Wonderfalls has a new show coming out: Mis/Guided. If anyone can make a show about a guidence councilor interesting, I think it would be him.
Well, duh, Bones! Of the new stuff, Chuck and Reaper. Of the other old stuff, House, Heroes, and Nova–I’m a sucker for those one-word titles–and Beauty and teh Geek. (I don’t know why they keep misspelling the title.)
I’m going to watch Jericho to see if it deserved the renewal. The last few shows of the first season were actually pretty decent. Let’s see if it’s watchable now without Gerald McRaney. I know it’s not coming back until mid season, so I know I have a bit of a wait.
And, I admit it, I’m going to watch Cavemen, just to see if it’s one of those shows that are so bad, it’s worth watching to make fun of. Maybe it’ll be a trainwreck, maybe it’ll be just entertaining enough to occupy a half hour in a mindless sort of way.
I’m really looking forward to “Pushing Daisey’s.”
Wasn’t there a show coming out that had Leslie Nielson in it?
Deal or No Deal. I hope Lindsay (26), Anya (10), and Layla (13) haven’t changed a bit.
Monday Night Football.
Then, probably NBC’s Thursday night line-up.
Curb Your Enthusiasm, and that sex show that HBO is starting.
The only new show that seems intriguing is Pushing Daisies. In January, I will start watching The IT Crowd, mostly because, if they’re smart enough to cast the same actor as Moss, then there’s a chance they’ll do the concept justice.
Returning shows are House, Bones, CSI, Earl, The Office and probably The Simpsons.
I’ve got a few shows checked off in the tv guide that I want to check out.
The first season of The Tudors will be airing this fall here, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (American version), No Opportunity Wasted (Phil’s new show)… the little teaser for Lost drew my interest again, so I think I should watch the second and third seasons now and finish up Heroes.
Braggart! That’s fun. Congrats.
My perennials are Scrubs, Veronica Mars, Family Guy, Heroes, L&O SVU, and L&O:CI. I’m looking forward to Chuck, the one about the immortal cop, and Reaper looks like it could be good.
One I will avoid at all costs is Cavemen; I mean, come on, what’s next, The WaMu Bankers’ Pen?
Anyrose, you do know that our beloved VM is gone, right? (Please don’t let me be the bearer of bad tidings. Please don’t let me be the bearer of bad tidings.)
House
Heroes
Bones
The Office
My Name is Earl
I would be watching Scrubs, but I’m a season or two behind, because the DVDs are slow to release.
I haven’t heard about any of the new shows, but just from this thread Journeyman, Pushing Daisies and Chuck sound interesting.
egad! say it isn’t so! really and truly gone, or just on hold until January?
Gone gone. And Scrubs is barely hanging on for that matter.
It’s really and truly gone, but Kristen Bell will be on Heroes. Does that help?
I’m mostly looking forward to old shows --Heroes, Lost, Earl, The Office, and Friday Night Lights. And The Wire, which returns in January, I believe.
New stuff – I’ll try Alan Ball’s vampire show, but that’s about it. Summer weaned me from TV and I don’t want to get hooked on a new show that might get cancelled.
I’m okay with Scrubs disappearing - it’s in syndication, so I know I can always get my fix.
As for Kristen Bell being on Heroes, I watch Heroes anyway, but where am I going to find my wise-cracking, strong, intelligent, mystery or supernatural solving blonde chick?
