It's getting worse for Hillary

As pointed before that is clearly distorted because the media insists on adding Biden on the mix when he is not running yet. And once again I pointed at this situation as the most likely outcome of the self interest of the mainstream media in the past. They do need the horse race.

Hillary should easily be the front runner. No one else has her name recognition or background. That she’s trailing speaks volumes about her vulnerability. It’s 2008 all over again when an unknown, and completely inexperienced Senator from Illinois kicked her ass in the primary. Nothings changed, she’s perceived just the same as 2008. Unlikable, untrustworthy, and just not forthcoming.

Well, Sanders is no Obama but Clinton also didn’t have any scandals in 2008 to drag her down. Sanders is getting a big assist from the media.

But I just don’t feel bad for her. If she’d just done the simple thing and used a government email account she’d have no issue. She set up a private account to evade the FOIA. Even if there was nothing else going on in regards to this account, that alone would raise serious suspicions.

That is a *most *unusual definition of “lie”.

This constant insistence that your guys wouldn’t come up with some other thing to denounce her for is touching, really it is - but it’s not consistent with the record, is it?

How’s that latest Benghazi investigation coming, btw?

The goal posts have not moved one iota. My position is exactly what it was months ago. Clinton is the overwhelming favorite to win the Dem nomination and the general election is too close to call right now.

Are we now considering a statistical tie to be trailing? Because you said she was trailing all Republicans except Trump.

To answer the thread title – it will either continue to get worse for Hillary and she will drop out of the race, or it will ‘peak’ at some point (and this may have already occurred) and then start to get better as there is less focus on it, if no bombshells are found.

I think the second is far more likely – and if I’m right, then Hillary is quite lucky that her “bottom” is this early in the campaign season. Everyone bottoms out and peaks – bottoming out early in the campaign is a lot better than late in the campaign.

The thing is, this ‘scandal’ has not really hurt her chances at all because a ‘scandal’ was essentially already baked in.

Check out this post on the PredictWise blog. (I’m referring to the post dated 9/27, but I can’t find a way to link directly to that)

Clinton is not plummeting and Sanders is not surging. Any ground (about 5%) Clinton lost over the last month was gained by Biden and not Sanders.

The first debate is about two weeks away. If Biden stays out, Clinton will be back at her all time high, but even if he throws his hat in, Clinton will be comfortably in front.
