I hauled the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. Chillage now ensues. Hope everyone has had a good day.

We are also heathens in our household, but the (local) kids aren’t, they’re Looterins, so we’re invited to their house for dinner today. Prolly ham and sides. **Wifey’s ** making home-made biskits to take with. It’ll be good wholesome Norman Rockwell Merika.
I use a .22, it’s much more sporting.
We don’t have an Olive Garden in our little town of ~23,000 people, but we do have 3 sushi places. :eek: I don’t even like sushi. We’re getting a Panda Express real soon though. I’m looking forward to seeing the pandas.

And we’re home again. Higgs didn’t accompany us because **FCD **didn’t want to take her. We got there early enough to determine that I shouldn’t have recommended my mom buy an Amazon Fire tablet. **FCD **cleared all her sign-ins off of it and they’re going to return it. Meanwhile, I found her a tablet similar to mine and it’s been ordered. She should get it tomorrow. My sister can help her set it up.
Too much food, so I’s stuffded. My sister wasn’t pissed at all about not going to FL, but she’s still willing if for some reason **FCD **can’t do it. That was a relief - I was fearing a scene. She can get a bit emotional at times.
My bro brought a big bag of goodies from his SO for the new baby - I don’t know what’s in it, but it weighs a ton. We also came home with chocolate rabbits and some leftover ham. I’m about to shed my shoes and goin’ out clothes and don a robe. Chillage shall ensue.
I lost one of my favorite channels on TV. I don’t remember what it was called but it was all foreign shows. It was a pain to have to watch to read the subtitles instead of just listening, but I liked a lot of the shows.
However, I gained the scientology channel, yes, scientology has its own channel.
The brat is finally sleeping.

Speaking of heathens, we had our spring picnic indoors at the community room of a local police precinct today. A couple of officers got tickled at coming into the lobby to kids (waiting for the aigs to be hidden) playing beachball catch in the lobby. We had a play dough table, an art table, corn hole and the aforementioned aig hunt for the kids and board/card games for the grown ups along with the potluck. A good time was had by all.

We get some great used snow-peas as well and tomorrow starts used candy chances. Its all good.

Work was not totally bad even though it wasn’t my favorite management team. And because of the date I spent a lot of time telling that in honor of the Holiday I was quitting and today was my last day ----------- and once the jaw hit the floor I reminded them that today was two holidays.
