Pfft. Too early?
The party was great- both parties were great. No one died. Arguing Friends bonded heavily over disagreeing while drunk. Only slight hitch was that one of Arguing Friends isn’t used to drinking and kept refilling his glass and was totally, loudly snockered by about ten-thirty and didn’t leave until after two. He has food boundary problems. I think he drank a bottle and a half of wine and five beers. He was gone. We’re not going to let that happen in our house again.

It’s already another Monday here.
My brain feels frozen. I stare at the screen, at the lines of code, and my mind draws a blank. I think I could spend the whole day just staring at the screen. Perhaps it’s time for a warm reset of my brain. Maybe I should clear some of my leave - I still at least got a week outstanding from last year.
They must have upgraded one of the ticket systems at work…
We have at least half a dozen ticket systems, for different stuff. You need new authorizations for someone, you use one system; you need a new username created, you use a different one; another one for physical maintenance, except if it’s IT-hardware, which gets its own…
And currently one of them is sending email to everybody any time someone opens or modifies a ticket. I expect the guys in charge of the email server will go down to the office of whomever is in charge of that particular ticket system soon and have a Talk with them.
