Thank you all. She lived a long and very full life - at age 85 she was on a bowling league and volunteered at a soup kitchen/thrift store - and was driving every day. She was a little (5’1") bundle of energy - right up until 2 weeks ago, when she became ill. She was surrounded by her 8 remaining kids and their kids, and their kids’ kids.
But I feel extra bad for her family - about 2 years ago, she lost her husband, then a week after we returned from competition last year, she lost one of her sons. On the up side (if there is one) C is now in the most fantastic Sweet Adelines All Stars chorus in the sky.
Thanks. Nope, haven’t had any shows lately and I’d be afraid to put them on Etsy because I’d be wary about shipping. They’re fairly sturdy, but I’d be afraid that those old gorillas that were always after luggage might have started working for the USPS since the seventies. 
The weather here in WV has changed at least three times since about 10p. They’re not sure if we’re going to get freezing rain, snow, or some combo thereof!
My name change in finally finished! I was freaking out in the court room. The judge had thought it had been at 8:30. The deputy suggested I go home and call the clerk to see if I could get it on the schedule for the day or I could wait and he’d ask. I waited and the judge checked after he dealt with the important cases. He had made the mistake and it all got taken care of (he didn’t even ask me any questions). I filed the paperwork, got an certified copy to send to Social Security and I officially have my name!
I have to get a new drivers license and all that, but I’m waiting until I get my hair cut. 
Gratz on the new name, I used to eat paper too and I’m reasonably sure it didn’t cause the nerdiness or anything and I hate that doctors have a word made from bits of Greek for that it’s like if you use normal language to describe something it’s not so important whereas sticking fancy words on it turns it into a “condition”, so sorry rosie, get better Boo. Can’t be arsed use better punctuation, deal.
I’m having a strange issue with a program at work. It’s a program which you use to record demos, to make the manuals for another program. The recorder fills in some text automatically. For some reason, I’m getting the text in English instead of Spanish, so the recording is in Spanglish. I can translate it, of course, since anyway I end up changing most of the autotext, but it’s stupid and it bothers me that I have no idea what causes it (the woman who does support for the recorder has no idea either, she’s investigating).
Off to record manuals. Planning on having a “bah, humbug” kind of day.

Found out that there are already manuals for most of the stuff, so what I need to do is get permission to update existing manuals. Will do that and then continue with data cleansing. That’s actually kind of fun (yeah, I’m weird), I curse like a sailor while I’m setting up all the checks but it’s nice when I finally get a clean file.

I’m kinda hopin’ for alone so I can entertain myself rather than be forced to do idle chitchat. I’d rather be bored alone than be bored with somebody else. I’m all weird like that.
