I’m not looking forward to putting on my leather jacket for the ride to work. Or worse, the ride back!
It is supposed to be 98 here today, and I am taking my older two kids to an amusement park. At least there are a few water rides to cool down on.
I suppose I could drive in air-conditioned comfort, but where’s the fun in that? I gotsta get out on da new bike!
I just moved to Long Beach from the Valley.
Very few apartments in Long Beach have AC. They said “It’s never that hot here”
I’m stewing in my own juices and Home Depot says there ain’t an A/C for sale in the whole district.
At least you’re not in the Valley. I’ve heard that people actually melt on the sidewalks there.
Yeah, but all the apartments have AC in the Valley (of hellish despair).
::whimper::
Yes, yes they do.
I feel your pain. It was that hot here for weeks… luckily it’s cooled down to a respectable 25 degrees celcius now.
[Hijack] JavaMaven, I recall you saying something about having taken pictures of the lovely Heloise at her graduation ceremony. Do you still have them? Are they digital? Can I have them, too? [/Hijack]
I did take pictures of the lovely Heloise, they’re not digital, but still on my disposable camera waiting to be developed.
Yeah, yeah, I’m SO ten years ago. I will get them developed and pass them along.
Heck–We’re lucky if it cools down to 90 F!
Gonna be HOT for quite a while, I fear. :mad:
Thanks, JavaMaven!
I just got back from a month in the Mid East. I would have killed for a 90-degree day. Even a 115-degree day with low humidity would have been welcomed.
