It's that time!

Here’s wishing you a safe, and relatively easy delivery!

Congrats to you both, and welcome to the world, little Aaron!

~V

I wish for a safe delivery and happy healthy baby for you.

All the best! Trust me, no matter how bad the pain is, you DON’T forget it about afterwards.

Just joking!

Thanks, y’all!

I just talked to Dave, and he missed his flight from BWI. However, he is going to make the next one, so he should be here about 3-ish.

Nothing new here, but I did stay up until a fairly late hour cleaning. Trust me, when the cleaning products come out, you know it’s serious. And I got up again this morning and attacked the stove.

Robin

Congrats and Best Wishes for your family. I think there is no gift more important than parenting. Good luck and don’t forget that there is no duty or calling that is more difficult or rewarding. Again, Best Wishes.

Yay! I can’t wait to meet him! Congratulations to you both, and I hope everything goes smoothly!

Get some sleep on the plane, Airman. It’ll be the last chance you’ll get for awhile.

Welcome to parenthood. Your life will never be the same again. And I mean that in a good way, of course.

Ah, nesting. Within 48 hours, you’ll officially be a mommy (and you’ll have a clean kitchen.)

Dave,

I have two small boys (see sig) so you can trust me on this. You will sing “Puff the Magic Dragon” more times than you’d care to count. Somewhere around iteration 136 you will start crying for “no apparent reason”. It’ll happen during the line, “A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys.” Trust me on this.

The same thing will happen the third time you hear John Denver’s “Song for Baby”. Again, trust me.

And finally, as our pediatrician said, it is impossible to spoil a baby in the first year of life. There is no such thing as offering too much attention and love.

Wait, one more. As a former teacher and current education researcher, please read to him every night. Every night. Every single night.

Now, my good man, bask in the wonderful glow that is a sweet combination of pride and sleep deprivation.

Coolness!

Sweet AD. My congratulations, thoughts and prayers are with you and Robyn.

You’ll make great parents.

Teach him to salute early.

Congrats you two! Babies are the coolest thing that can happen.

Come on, Aaron, make your way safely to us! I hope it goes well, Robyn and Airman Doors!

Congratulations!! Glad he’s ready. Hope everything goes well.

Jim

Oh, happy news!

All the best wishes to you three, and many years of happiness ahead.

This is so smashing! Congratulations, Robyn, Dave, and baby Aaron.

I’m sending happy pregnancy/easy labor thoughts your way, Robyn.

And if you two are ever in upstate NY and looking for some free babysitting… (I keep trying to convince my 18 year old sister that she should get pregnant as soon as possible – so I’ll have a little one to play with and then send home when he/she gets cranky – but she’s not going for it. ;))

Advice?
The only advice I’ll offer is to not listen to all the advice that will be coming your way soon.
Trust your own instincts and you’ll all be fine.

Take care Robyn and Dave, and kiss that baby good when he arrives.

Congrats you two! May it be everything you hoped for and more!

And hug little Aaron for us, willya?

Ric and Kathy

Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!!

Hugs and kisses to all of you, and here’s to an easy labor (and not-too-difficult next 18 years…)

I’m so excited for you - I’ll be waiting for news!

woot woot woot!

Congratulations to the both of you and to babydoors. Hope all is going well.

This is so exciting! Big big congratulations to both of you!
